I noticed your profile & two words "jumped"out at me!---"Luigi & Luca---your "husband's & son's" names. Well; my Great-Grandfather "Luigi De Luca" left your beautiful town-"R.V."-to seek the American dream in May 1891.When I look @ all of the extraordinary photos of-"R.V."-on this web-site; my heart aches !
I wish that I could travel there to see it with my own eyes, but I don"t think that will ever happen.I think that it is really cute for "Phil"to send the "hats & badges; making you the official "turisti"guides.GREAT
IDEA ! I was wondering if you could possibly find out if there are any "De Lucas"left in -"R.V."-? ? If so, they are probably long lost relatives.I would be very grateful if you can find the time to do so.By the way,
my ex-wife is of English/Norwegian extraction. Her maiden name is "Holgate".I love this web-site.It is like our own "private club",connecting to ancestors & relatives world wide. Please take a look @ my "blog"
and view my lovely daughter in "Italia".Click on to (PHOTO)-1--to see the caption under her photo. The
scenery is magnificent !--I'm sure that you'll agree when you see it.By the way, there are at least 5 or 6 "la Penna"families in our Roseto area.
Take care-----Ciao,
JACK
