What brought you to Houston? I am still in South Florida. I went to college there, did my medical in the midwest, and returned to Florida. I am a family practitioner. My mother lives in the seniors apartment building. I am trying to get her to come down with me because she is losing her memory. I have been married for 6 years. No children, but she has children and grandchildren.
Teresa,
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you. Joseph Beck (1819-1892) lived in Mt. Bethel, PA and had a daughter, Ariella (1856-1947), who in turn had a daughter Mary Paff (1882-1958) who was my grandmother. I think Joseph had some brothers and sisters. What does that make us??
Jim
Teresa,
What goes around comes around. My dad, Sullivan Cistone was born and raised in Roseto, PA. We lived in Bangor until I was in the 9th grade, and then moved to Bethlehem, PA. My mother's maiden name was "Werner", but she had relatives named "Beck" from the Mt. Bethel area, and I beleive that her grandfather was Joseph Beck, who had a farm near where the Bangor schools are today. Could we be related through the German side? Wouldn't that be interesting, finding each other on the Italian side and being related on the German side!
Jim
Welcome Teresa, I'm happy that a former festival queen has joined our ranks. Please stop by often and don't hestitate to ask questions. I am sure you will find many members here that will become friends, if not discover lost cousins. - Phil (FYI - always use the [Comment Back] or [View Thread] to reply to anyone who writes on your Comment Wall so they will be notified)
